Suzuki, often cited as Japan’s third or maybe fourth best motorcycle manufacturer, will leave MotoGP at the end of the season in a move that has shocked everyone.
It’s currently unknown why Suzuki have lost their nerve and decided to run away but it’s thought that the rumour that Carl Fogarty might turn up at the British GP with his haircut probably didn’t help matters.
“I can’t believe they’re packing up their tofu and leaving” explained one distraught Suzy fan “Who am I supposed to support now? I hate Honda because my lawnmower is shit and I struggle to like anything Italian after Guns n’ Roses released their terrible ‘spaghetti incident’ album.”
The shock move comes at the expense of all the team and especially their riders Joan Mir and Alex Rins. It looks like both Spanish riders may now have to politely ask wholesale MotoGP provider Ducati to pull yet another two bikes out of their arse for next season.
Leaving MotoGP means Suzuki will now be the only top motorcycle manufacturer not to have a presence in either MotoGP or World Superbikes. However the move will allow the frightened Japanese firm to concentrate on refining their superb woke-friendly Suzuki Swift 1.2 Dualjet to an even duller standard.
Meanwhile it’s suggested that Honda may well too be looking at leaving the sport at the end of 2024. Since losing Marc Marquez’s winning ways through injury it dawned on the evil lawnmower manufacturer that their bike was a bit rubbish. To fix this they build an all-new, none-rubbish bike for 2022…which is still a bit rubbish. This ongoing issue may now cause HRC to dishonourably give up instead of actually knuckling down and solving their problems – as seen throughout their quittastic years in Formula 1.
