In Jerez Jack Miller won – something that absolutely no one saw that coming. Here’s Arjen’ recap of that strange race in Spain:
So who’ll win at Le Mans? Quartararararo and Zarco will be the home favourites but both French riders have a history of crumbling like a stale macaroon on home soil.
What about the Ducati charge? Miller won last time out and Pecco Banana leads the championship.
Is Marc Marquez almost fit again? Is this where his charge begins?
And finally what about the pocket rocket Lorenzo Savadori? Is the race where the leading 22 riders all fall off due to a carelessly misplaced Bourguignon incident and he sweeps through for another classic victory to add to his tally of none?
Vote now!
So how did you do last time? (Badly)
Your selected Winner: Fabio Quartararo (28%)
It looked like sure bet before the race. It looked like a certainty in practice. And it looked like a forgone conclusion for the opening laps of the race.
But it was not to be. A mysterious arm issue saw Fab’s fab run fall flat on his croissant.
Actual Winner: Jack Miller (0%)
Jack was your favourite to win in the opening race in Qatar. Fast forward a few races and at Jerez no one at all voted for the uneducated Australian. Not one single vote.
Which goes to show how unpredictable MotoGP is or how uneducated MGPN readers are – probably a happy-medium of both.
Special Mention: I like Barry Sheene but I was never happy with the way the 7 was written on his bike (10%)
Good point. I’m not sure that Donald Duck logo he used was Walt Disney endorsed either.
